The Project is currently being implemented in municipalities of the semi-arid region of Ceará which face severe desertification. The initiative aims to promote food and water security through Agroforestry Systems irrigated with brackish water and training in agroecological practices. The project seeks to increase agricultural productivity and family income while strengthening the climate resilience of communities. The actions include drilling artesian wells and environmental restoration, focusing on sustainability and conservation of the Caatinga biome.

In the last year, we supported the right to education in 14 countries according to 3 main directions: guaranteeing access to school and reducing school drop-outs; promoting the inclusion of the most marginalised groups, and favouring high-quality education.
In a context in which investing in primary school means promoting the education of underprivileged students, we were able, together with local partners and educational institutions, to upgrade 278 primary schools to make them accessible and safe places for over 160,500 students, even in emergency contexts, like Syria, Lebanon and Palestine.
- 278 primary schools supported
- 556 thousand people reached
- 400 training courses for teachers carried out
We set up remedial activities, schemes to develop transversal skills and inclusion projects for 14,500 students so that marginalised groups could also take part.
